The crocodilian farms we work with play a central role in protecting crocodilian species and sustaining the wetlands they live in, which are among the most productive ecosystems in the world.
But we don’t stop there.
Our manufacturing process follows ISO14001 guidelines, continuously monitoring and reducing our environmental impact through effective systems and governance.
Since 2019, Tanexo is fully Carbon Neutral.
As such, we have contributed to several projects, including solar power generation in China, a REDD+ project in Brazil or a Ceramic Water Purifier Production and distribution in Cambodia.
In addition to a strict respect of all labour laws, we put a strong emphasis on continuously improving labour practices and human rights protection in the workplace.
As a result, we have conducted various voluntary actions, such as supporting a psychosocial rehabilitation program through the employment of numerous patients suffering from mental illnesses, conducting various internal awareness programs or promoting yearly trainings for our employees.
We work closely with farmers, chemical suppliers as well as relevant government and non-government organisations, placing the utmost attention on sourcing and traceability. Our company complies with international regulations set by the CITES agreement.
Our leather fully complies with European chemical regulations and satisfies all REACH rules. Our company is also certified by the LWG and the AQC. We promote social responsibility in our value chain, encouraging and supporting organisations we work with to follow similar policies. As such, both our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy (ISO26000) and Code of Business Conduct and Ethics are available to all external stakeholders on request.
